Before you buy, find out if you have a TH350 or TH350C so that you get the correct kit. I'm not sure how you identify the C versus non-C externally. I think it has some electrical wires inside the pan though that run a lock-up converter. Others with the C may be able to offer more info.

 Hmmm.. I have never heard of such a thing
You can get the B & M at Advance right here in your town. Rick's transmission rebuilt my tranny and drilled the valve body which does about the same as a kit, so they say.
Installed one last weekend. I like it alot. Get one. But be prepared to spend a good part of the day installing it. And it's one of the messy jobs. A second pair of hands definitely recommended.
Make sure sure if you "C" or not . It does make a difference . I have a 81 and I do believe the C came out that year.
You wil need the TransPak if you have a TH350C.
I love mine and it is a B&M been in the car about a year and works great.

Good luck.
If i were you. I would have it installed. These things are easy to mess up. If that happens you have to tow it to the tranny shop and will cost alot more in the long run :smash:
Thanks for the info DP77Vette, its nice to see someone from Sparkle City. About the installation, I don't have much experience installing stuff, but my dad will of course be there doing most of the work. I'll talk to him about whether or not he thinks we can install it. Thanks for all the help guys. I won't be able to get it for at least a week though, my dad is gone to Fla. on vacation. But I'll tell you guys when I do get it!
