Yes, there is the Tremec TKO or 3550, Richmond 5 speed, as well as some others. Im in the middle of getting my TKO installed by a shop (not my first choice) but believe it is a very good transmission....ask some of the members who already have it.

Tremec TKO all the way - has overdrive - unlike the Doug Nash/Richmond Unit (which is also an excellent trans). Just finished my install. here are some picts.
This is the trans in before the crossmember was reinstalled.
This is the enlarged shifter hole in the drive tunnel.
Here is the modified original 4-speed x-member
That same x-member installed with four 1/2" diameter bolts

fauxers,
looks like if you had to cut the tunnel that far to the right it would offset the shifter a similar amount. How did you get it back into the center of the console? Does it shift smoothly?
GrandSportC3, you say the TKO isn't good for road racing, Why not?
