Default Got a price quote for removable rear window.

I called a corvette junkyard and got a quote for everything I would need to do the removable rear window mod to my 77. (including glass) The quote was $500. Seems a little high for used parts, what do you think. The quote was from http://corvettejunkyards.com/ If its a fair price then I will buy it, other wise I will keep looking.

Seems out of line. Bought a frame from a member for $50, added pins (thru Zip's) for $10. Glass can be replaced cheap. Call a glass company and get a price.

NHvette bought a complete set up for $100 as is.

Tray and cushions are cheap and NOT needed. I never use mine.

S&S Corvettes in Port St. John FL. They are in my area so I went there and rummaged through their junkyard. There's also another corvette junkyard in FL called Sunshine Corvettes, they advertise in Auto Trader sometimes.

If I remember correctly I paid $120 for the rear window, $40 for the latches, $10 for the interior upholstery panels, and $20 for the rear window seal. Also bought the nylon doohickeys from a repro shop, don't remember how much they were.

$500? I'd walk away.

Check him out
