I got mine out recently. A major PITA. Hardest part was getting the shims out. Once they are out of the way, the Sawzall did the trick. I don't have any pictures, but can share my 2 cents on the project. Two suggestions on removing the rusted $%&* shims:
-Don't be in a hurry.
-Have a good supply of cold beer on hand.
I agree that it is a PITA if it is the first time they are coming out. You will need to buy a special tool to flare the inner sleeves, and you will need at least a 10 ton press. If I were to do it again, I would have saved the money on the tool, and sent them to a vette shop to have them done, after you take them out of course.
I agree on getting the shims out first. On the first cut I sawed for over an hour only to find out later that i was through the bolt a long time ago. It can be a lot of work getting the shims out but it is worth it. You can see what you are doing and zip through the bolt in a minute once that is done.
I agree as listed in other posts, and when I did mine you need to get the shime out. Use a hammer and large chisel to brake them free enough to get them out. With the shims out you can cut through the bolts very quickly. If you try to cut through the bolts with the shime in it will take forever. I went with Poly bushings for mine, didn't need to worry about the flaring tool and press. Good luck
