stock 1980 vette info
can anyone tell me what the stock cam and heads are on the both of the l-82 and l48 motor. I got a desktop dino and I don't have any clue what my vette has in it stock. Also should I put a spacer between my carb and intake?

What engine do you have? (Hint: The L82 has ribbed black aluminum valve covers.) The carb spacer is a nice idea, but it won't fit under the hood.

A carb spacer WILL work.. but not with the stock set up. You'll have to get a smaller air cleaner or get a drop down base. Thats what I ended up doing. I found the drop down base at a local speedshop for $20!!! Solved a years worth of clearance issues :cool:
