when I put them on they go on fast, then when I shut them off they keep pulsating, they jump about a half inch for hours. What the heck could it be??
It think the problem is in the motor itself because there is a park switch that actually stops the motor when it gets to the detent. No matter where the wipers are when you turn them of, they will continue until they complete the sweep and the park. It sounds like the park switch inside the motor isn't working. Iv'e tried to fix those before without much luck but maybe you will have better luck. They are kinda tricky when you get into it.
OK.. thanks.. At least they are not on the column. I really do think it is a motor problem. I know the switch is cheaper. It's easy to check, just unplug it.. I really don't think the switch is bad.
Mine did the same thing, actually they would "park" then sweep, then "park" then sweep ..... and so on. Sometimes they would "park" for hours (remember the days :lolg: ) and they would choose to sweep on a bright sunny day, at a set of lights, with people checkin' out the car...
It ended up being the "park" switch inside the motor, and not at all expensive, you just need someone who knows what there lookin' for.
