Thanks Again,

I'm need to replace the spring on my 69' roadster with a 550-600hp 434 Small block. My main concern is nice ride as I want my wife and children to enjoy the car with as little harshness in the ride as possible. Any advice on a spring and even shock setup that would ride nice and still handle that HP would be greatly appriciate. Thanks par1969.
I went with a VBP 330lbs. composite monospring and the KYB gas shocks made for it. If I were to do it over again I might purchase the Bilstein shocks instead, but I still don't know if they are worth double the price of the KYB'S. I would discribe the ride with this setup as soft, plus I dropped 30 or so pounds.
which is nice.
I did the 330 lb/in monospring too, converted from the original 9-leaf steel. Also added a .75" anti-sway bar, Bilstein sport shocks, and the VB Smart Struts. Very happy with it. Not sure how the power level of your engine factors into the equation, but the tech people at VB were very helpful to me when I was trying to decide on a spring/shock/bar combo.
