Default "Be Cool" guys, Be cool...

I got my new radiator and fan in today and already installed it. I now sit at idle cooler than the Mercedes that sits next to it. Though only problem is now is that it won't start with the fans on, the starter won't even crank the engine. I have the fans hardwired into the electrical system (I want them this way). When I take the fuse out of the fan circuit the car can start.

I have right now a 1000 amp, 12v battery. Would you guys suggest a little bit stronger battery than the one I have now, or just a thorough recharge? Thanks guys

You might try rewiring them to a source that is disengaged when you turn the key to the start position like most of your acc's.

Curious as to why you want your fans to run all the time?

They are currently wired to an ignition source and still to no avail.

I have a had a lot of trouble with overheating before and I want to make sure that I don't have to encounter it again. I have had a bad experience lets say with overheating. Three times.

You could also wire in a switch to turn em off and on, I have that right now untill I install a temp sensor and switch.

There is absolutely no need for the fans to run until the engine warms up - your engine will last longer! Plus you are putting an unreasonable load on your electrical system.

A relay with a thermostatic switch shouldn't cost that much and it will solve all your problems.

That would scare me to death, because just as sure as God made little green apples, I'd forget to turn the suckers on.
