I remember a thread like this was uyp sometime ago but didn't see it in the archives. Do any of you have plans of an unattached garge or suggestions on square footage or layouts?
Did you build your own? Do you have any pics of the outside and inside? I am wanting to build my own but would like to get some ideas before I start. Are you using one big door or 2 doors?
One thing to consider is making a seperate room for the air compressor so you don't have the noise right in your ear while your using air. I can't even hear mine when it's running and it's a big unit. Also consider the direction the door faces in relation to the sun during the time you plan to do the most work. You may not want the sun glaring in all afternoon (west facing door) if you live in a hot climate.

Already thinking about that :yesnod: I plan on pooring a small pad and build an attached shed big enough for the compressor and then plumb the quick connects and regulators inside the garage. There is nothing worse than the sound of an air compressor running while you are working in the garage. :mad
