Default Engine identification

Aloha!
I have a 1980 vette. The ID number suggests that I have a small block motor. A friend when I first bought this car said that the motor was now a 350. How can I be for sure what motor that I have? :conehead

1980 Vettes only came with a small block (read 350 cu in) motor. Last year of big blocks was 1974.......... :yesnod:
