Default TTII's vs. 409's

Has anyone done a comparison as far as quality, weight, price etc. Any draw backs to either one.

I checked both out when I was shopping, I love the looks of both but I couldn't afford the 409s and went with TT2 from my local Tire Kingdom for ~$160 each.

They are made by Edelbrock and are sold by quite a few vendors.

I would go with the 409's simply because I have heard many forum members talking about how hard it is to get round TTII's. If you do go TTII, have the shop do a runout check before you pay.

...Edelbrock has there name on them but they are manufactured by Ultrawheel and was told yesterday by a guy there that they are discontinued due to poor sales?
