Default I just can't stop smilling.

I got my 81 a few months ago with Tach. and the power sit did not work, the batery light and the choke light are alway on . I did a few searchs and have all information how to rebuild the choke , replace the circuit board for the Tach. and look for lose ground connection for the battery , replace with C4 sit , but have not done any yet so last week i replaced the carpet set cleaned up good of everything i took apart , under the shift plate unpluged and pluged back most of the connectors and done the same thing for the circuit box. I took the car to work on Monday and did not pay attention at anything
beside enjoy drving the vette , until haft way to work which is fifteen miles and a miracle happen when i checked everythings one by one is working.
I can't never explained. :)

sounds like you must have made good electrical connections out of bad ones, that may have been loose or corroded. Good job!Wish I had that kind of luck :jester

Cool. I am always confused when things start working out of the blue but I usually try to figure out why and end up breaking them again! :banghead:

Good deal, about time you got that thing back together! How much involved to install the C4 seats in your 81? Call me when you get in the office in the morning.

Soounds like some of the fixes we found when I was in the Navy working on airplanes. Sometimes a quick reconnect of a connector fixed the problems. And when it does it sometimes it is best not to ask why, just enjoy the results. Glad everything is working well for you.
