Dash Speaker Question
I posted this over on the audio section but got no response so.....
I'm installing the ECM for my TPI under the passenger side dash in my 71 vert. To make room, I had to remove the JBL 4x6 dash speaker. I'm looking for a very thin (like 1") speaker to replace it. Seems like I've seen a poly or plastic speaker that is thin and waterproof.
Anyone know about this?

Infinity makes a 4 x 6 that really isn't a 4 x 6 (HUH). They come installed on a 4 x 6 plate but are actually not a 4 x 6 speaker. They are made up of the following material:
Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm woofer with hi-roll rubber surround

If you can't find anything for the dash, put a nice set in the kicks and don't worry about the dash.
