Torco Converters?
In my search for most bang for the buck as far as a new torque converter goes, VETDRMS mentioned a company named Torco Converters http://www.torcoconverters.com/ . They will custom build what sounds like a darn tootin' good converter for $210. I am most likely going to go ahead and go this route as it is more economical than either B&M or TCI, but thought I'd search for opinions or experiences just the same. They claim that this build should stand up to 800HP, which is about 200 more than the best figure I will likely ever make.

I decided this morning to "Just Do It". I just got off of the phone with Mickey at Torco and am so far very impressed with the level of service. He was quite friendly and cut me a deal on a custom billet 9.5" converter for $300... He said they'd email me the tracking number once it is in the mail and it should be here either Friday or next Monday. That is what I call turn around!
