If you have a power steering equipped C3 that just doesn't brake the way it should, could, or would, by next weekend you could have braking power like you have never imagined

I have everything stock on mine exept the Hydroboost system. I don't know about heat build up because I don't road race but for the street I can't imagine needing anything more than this setup.
For best results without getting into exotic and $$$ parts, we simply recommend a set of stainless braided brake flex hoses, fresh quality stock replacement rotors, stainless sleeved and preferably o-ringed calipers, and a set of Performance Friction pads (though the stock replacement pads indeed do work well and are a tad easier on the rotors).
The more exotic you go, the more you are somewhat on your own and the lighter your wallet will be. We simply haven't found any real reason to go exotic at the wheels, even under heavy road racing conditions where the addition of air cooling ducting takes care of the thermal issues handily. Some guys are getting into a current fad of running larger wheels and having exotic looking brakes behind them for visual impact...
