Default so, about this console thing......

so the aircon, and the controls for the vents and stuff arent working, the radio doesnt work and the light indicators kinda work. (when i brake, the license plate indicator light comes on) also the speedo does not work, and i dont really know if thats related or not. (btw here are pics http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=578088)

so thats where im at for now, i'll look some more tomorrow probably. right now im just enjoying having it, and ill start the unending fixing tomorrow.

Sounds like a bad ground. Everything needs a ground wire attached to it for the lights and gages to work properlly. My radio was installed by a PO without reconnecting the ground wire and everything back-fed through the dash lights. When I turned on the lights, everything went nuts.

The light indicators are fiber optics. No bulbs. They get dirty at both ends. Don't worry about them until you get everything else working.
