Hi Guys,
Well just landed on your mailing list. I live in the Dominican Republic and am the proud owner of a 68' 427 convertible vette. The car is in the middle of a frame off restoration and it's worked by myself over the weekends.

At this moment, the frame is to 90 % ready. All parts were sandblasted and semi gloss black spray painted.
It has all new polyurethane bushings, front and rear spindles and brake covers chromed, all new seals and bearings, Power Slot brake rotors and Ferro Carbon brake pads, VBP suspension kit from Eckler's with Bilstein Shocks ,new front coil springs and rear fiberglass spring, 1 1/8 front and 3/4 rear sway bars.

New fuel tank with stainless steel lines, new power brakes stainless steel lines, new brake hoses, all rebuilt callipers. The rear end is also ready and rebuilt it has 355 gears installed instead of the 411 which the car had when purchased. 4 speed Muncie M21 Manual transmission also freshly rebuilt (last weekend).

The engine is a 427 four bolt main, 2.2" intake valves, 1.96" exhaust valves, double valve springs, 3 angle valve job, Action Plus intake manifold, Holley double pumper 750 cfm, Standard crank, Isky Mega Cam & Lifters, Cloyes True Double Roller Timing Chain Set, Torrington Block Saver Roller Bearing Set, Melling High Volume High Pressure Oil Pump with a Welded on Oil Pick Up Screen, A Melling Steel Sleeved High Performance Drive shaft, Roller Tip Rocker Arms, 3/8" Push Rods & Guide Plates, GM High Performance Connecting Rods, Hypereutectic Pistons, Closed gap rings etc.

Well as soon as I have some time I'll start building my homepage and write all the stories during the restoration.

So long for now,

Dan

welcome! :seeya '
About the pics; you need to find a place that will host them. Many ISP's give free web space for pages and such, pics can be hosted there as well. The hosting here has not been available to new members signing up for a while. I joined last August and don't have permissions. With server space limited, I'll bet it was granted first come first serve.
