I have started my 1977 Interior restoration and have a couple of question.
1. I’m using Corvette America interior dye for all my panel parts. What should I use to re-paint the steering column? I have decided to go ahead and pull this out (only part left inside).
2. What is the best way to fix a clock without paying $150 for a new one. I have been looking at the quartz kit. How hard is this to convert over?
Sorry, I can't say what to use for the steering column . . . I would assume the interior dye would be fine. For the clock though, I had about 4 of them lying around here and I got two working. One I put together with pieces from semi-broken ones, and one I just cleaned the contacts on and it started working. Although, the one I put in my car runs too fast for some reason, so I might suggest going with the quartz conversion now while it's out of the car.
