Gasket smoke?

I just installed a new header gasket on my right bank of cylinders. After the fact that I have installed the gasket, smoke starts to float out of the area. I used some Mr Gasket gaskets from the local auto store. Any idea what the smoke might be? I doesn't smell like exhaust. It has a sort of burning smell to it... :(

Why use gaskets? Originals didnt have them.

I would prefer to have gaskets between my block and headers if possible. I had fixed an exhaust leak

I belive that theres nothing to do about it..Some gaskets will do that,but should stop after a while when the engine has run for a couple of miles :cheers:
