Default T-top Problem

I have a problem... I need to know where you can find the pieces of molding at the back of the car that rest under the t-tops for a 72. these pieces are chrome plated peuter i believe... they start out under the T-bar molding or if i am saying it wrong. The big stainless steal piece underneath the middle of your two T-tops. they then continue along straight for a while and then travel down the side of the car for maybee an inch. I would post a pic but i don't know how. they have 3 bolt or screw holes two dowels and a fourth hole that does under the T-bar molding. I really need to locate the left and right ones and buy them... Who makes these??? any help is greatly apreciated.

Bob, To my knowledge these are not being repod. I found some good used ones at Carlisle last year. I would check the used parts dealers and see if you can find some decent ones. Good Luck, Craig :seeya

:iagree: Bob, I am afraid you will have to find a set off of a donar car from a corvette recycler. These things are made from pot (trash) metal and are notorious for pitting the chrome that is applied to them. I had mine rechromed 2 years ago and they came out much less than perfect. Not much choice bud. If you need a list of recyclers to hunt a set down just ask, we can recommend a few. But you may want to start by searching the C-3 parts for sale section here on the forum.
