Boy you said a mouthful, My dad let me have a 55 Mercury when I first started driving and it had a V8. But he was always watching me like a hawk. if i ever tromped down on the gas, that would of been the last time I ever got to drive the car. These people need to get right-sized. You give a young kid who has no expierence with driving nor a powerful car. Mix well and this is what you get. His parents have no one to blame but themselves. Sorry if I seem blunt, but sometimes the truth hurts. :cry

Perhaps there should be a "parent mode" installed on the newer cars so the Traction Control and other things can be set to ALWAYS be on and only be unlocked by the owner. I'd feel lots better lending my Z out (not that I do.. just hypothetically) if there was a function like this.
