Yes I know this should be in off-topic but I really value your opinions here and don't know how many really check out the off topic posts. I ask you this...I am active duty AF, but does it seem completely and totally absurd that the tv companies are fighting to sign Jessica Lynch for her story? Those of you that don't know, she is the POW of this last war with Iraq. Let me fill you in a little as to what she did to become a "hero". She took a wrong turn and got other members of her group killed. She cowarded under a blanket when the rescuers came for her. I just don't know what you can say she did to make her a "hero". I believe she is an idiot and the tv companies are even more so. If they do make a tv show of her stupidity, I will boycott it and advise as many as I can to do the same. I'm sorry but what she did and what she is getting for it is BS. What about the ones that LOST their lives? Do they get an $8 million, yes 8 million advance for a book? I'm losing my cool here, I better git. Sorry for the :rant: but I trust your opinions. :flag
