Holley Help
I put a 770 avenger on my 73 BB motor.
The car is a 71 with an auto tranny. Whenever I put it in gear it dies. If I set the idle up enough to keep the car running it idles at about 1200. I called Holley they told me a different power valve. They said to put the car in gear and take an intake vacuum reading and divide it by 2. And that is the power valve I need. I did that and have the new power valve and different jets they told me to put in the front. They said 78's all around. What now? I don't know where to start to change the power valve or the jets. Any where that I can find instructions. Any help would be appreciated.

You can go out and buy a book that will explain everything about Holley's. A local car parts store should have one or a book store (a big one such as Barnes and Noble) would even carry them.
