1969 vert
standard with a 5 speed. 350 with some minor mods, it runns pretty good, I was able to drive it home (175 miles) after one day of work. Here are a few pics: http://libraries.uta.edu/sholmes/V/
I'll post more when I get a chance..
No idea what trans is in it. The guy I bought it from didnt do the swap, so he didnt know. I just sold my house, and I'm waiting to close on another one so all of my tools (as well as a place to work) are in storage. As soon as I get settled in, I'll take a more detailed look. The engine is a 350- it's got headers an Accel distributor and a Holley carb. Oh yeah, someone removed the original fan and put on a flex fan.
Now that I put in some hotter plugs and fixed a major vacuum leak, it runs pretty strong.
It needs a new top and the brakes need some work and there are a few electrical bugs, but other than that it is not in too bad a shape.
The ride home was uneventful except for the monster sunburn I got from driving the whole way with the top down :D

Congrats! Great year!
Probably a Richmond/Doug Nash since it is the easiest swap. If you can peek under the car, the Richmond has external shift linkages. If there are no linkages, it's a probably a Tremec. :seeya
