I am looking to replace my current Goodyears Eagle GT 225/70r15s with some new rubber, I was thinking of putting on the Firestone INDY 500'S, they seem to have received some good reviews, looking for comments, thanks
So far, I've been really pleased with my Indy 500's. I think my set cost ~$330 mounted and balanced at a local tire store. They have good treadwear, temperature, and traction ratings. I give them two thumbs up in "simple ride and drive qualities"
HOWEVER, do not expect high performance miracles from these tires. They are basically a flashy passenger car tire.
In the future, I plan on upgrading to 17" wheels and tires for better control.
Thnaks for the response,I think I'll stick with either the BFG TA's or Dunlop Qualifiers, unless I get bad reviews about them too. What about the Yokohamas?
