headlight hinge pin fix...cheap!
It's pretty simple and rock solid. I used 3 inch long .5 inch bolts. I ground through the casting with a dremmel tool so the pin could go all the way through. I timmed both ends of the bolt to the length I needed and used jam nuts with a lot of locktite to secure the pin to the frame. On the one side I ground down the nut a bit to give a little more wiggle room. I also ground down the bushing for the same reason. Then just put it back together. Now when the lights are up, the are very solid.

However, I've been too busy to edit/post the pics.
I needed to replace the front bolt that hold the linkage to the cover, one
of the front mounting ears, and redo one of the positive stop bars that
bolt to the cover. I use either aluminum or stainless now. No more rusty steel
with the cast parts.
Good job !! - and saved yourself $150.
