Default Engine options...

Since i blew my 454 ,i`m now building a new one.. :smash:
I`ve got some diffrent head options to choose.
The block is a 454 two bolt .030 bore,Cast crank,3/8 rods with ARP bolts,Mech Roller Comp cams 288R.Edelbrock RPM intake and a 850 DP and Hooker sidemounts.Main and head bolts are ARP.
I`ve got a set of 781 heads with 2.19/188 valves and a set of 702 heads with 2.19/188...
Any ideas on what heads to use?

I wouldn't use those flow numbers. 354 cfm from a 253cc port at .600 lift? I wish! :lolg: Looks like a typo.

The 049 is basically the same as the 781.
