Corvette 50th - more pics
- the blue 2004's
- more '53s than I've ever seen
- a hideous red modified C3
- lots of gorgeous C1's, 2's and 3's
- the June 27th parade of all 50 model years (the passenger in the white '65 is Charlie Pride)
- the NCM in Bowling Green
- a C5 that someone had modified to look like a '53 - very strange
- me in Memphis, after I bought a drink for the Blues Brothers' drummer, who was playing in a bar on Beale St.
- a C2 in the Graceland parking lot with a cool front lic plate
- Graceland and Elvis's grave
An excellent trip. I'd recommend it to anyone who's never been down there, even without a Corvette convention!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
One of the things I was surprised at was that there wasn't more of a CorvetteForum.com presence at Nashville and BG. I suppose there were a lot of us there who, like me, didn't have a Forum t-shirt to wear!
("Yeah, I'll meet you at the Coliseum. I'll be the one wearing a Corvette hat.")
By coincidence I bumped into Juliet waiting for the shuttle at the hotel. Other than that, the only Forum members I saw were Toronto guys, 75Rag and Ghostrider.
Overall, it was a great time. The ZZ Top show was a bit of a drag, but apart from that it was a good event. Excellent cars, nice weather. Seeing the museum in BG was something I'd wanted to do for a long time, and it was pretty impressive. I was shocked to see that they didn't have 1974 represented in the line of C3's in the museum, but then remembered that they have Duntov's personal '74 near the entrance!
