Hooker Side tubes: Any install tricks??

Hooker Side tubes: Any install tricks??
I have the Chrome Hooker Side mounts and ready to install the side tubes. Any tips on getting the tube on without scratching up all the chrome? I thought about flairing the opening of the tube but afraid I may cause the chrome to crack and flake.
Any advice?? :confused:

Check for any sharp edges around the tube ends and remove with a fine rat tail file. Coat the inside of the tubes with an anti sieze compond....the header collectors will scratch from installing the sidetubes nothing you can do to prevent it.....

yellow 72 is correct. Nothing you can do to prevent the inside collector from getting some scratches, but who cares, really? You want a tight seal there, for sure.
I just used a bit of WD-40 and mine went on without too much hassle. The anti-seize is probably better, although I've had mine off twice and didn't have a big issue with removal.
