Spark plug wire routing
I put the engine in, but I didn't put the spark plug wires underneath the engine mounts and inside the shielding. Now they won't fit.
I think I have to lift the engine a little, but I don't have the engine hoist anymore... Can I lift it with a jack, or should I find another way to route the #1-4 wires?

Those wires should go through the engine mounts without any problem, but you will need to remove the boot first. Gently remove the boot to avoid damage to the wire, then a little silicone spray will help with re-assembly. I am pretty sure I routed mine between the mounts and the block, there is just enough room there.
