On the 21st of june 2003, i was on my way to Sudbury from Kingston. About a 7 hour trek when the old reliable vette left me on the side of the 400 north highway just south of Barrie.(a 400 highway in Canada is like an Interstate) :mad Almost exactly halfway from home and halfway to my destination :cry
of the hundreds of cars that past my smoking car that day, the only one who stoped to give me a hand was a kind gentleman in a yellow C-5 vert.
to you kind stranger i say thank you!!!
Thanks to you - Mr yellow C5 convertible driver.
We all look up to you when the coolant is on the pavement.
You always have a spare quart of oil to give.
Whether it's offering a lift to the next town or simply offering your cell phone -
you are there to help your fellow vette owner.
So raise your cans or bottles and have a toast. Here's to you Mr yellow C5 convertible owner.
You da man.
:seeya Glad to see someone stopped for you. :yesnod:
 Go ahead and post this in C5 where he might see it! (If you haven't already). That should make up for a few of those "C5 didn't wave" threads!! MJ
The C-5 driver in question offered me a ride and use of his cellphone but all i needed of him was my exact location to call a tow truck. i blew the lower rad hose. :banghead:
