So which way do I face.....
Theres a shaft seal on the power brake booster on the 69 thats between the booster and the master, I had to pull the booster to get the vac tank out to get a leak fixed, I cant remember which way the seal was,
On one side of the seal theres all rubber showing the other side has more metal showing,
So which side faces the master,

Metal side towards the booster. At least that is how the dry, cracked, leaky one that I replaced on my 73 was installed.
I could hardly believe how much better my engine ran after sealing up the huge vacuum leak created by that little seal. :thumbs:
Did you have much trouble finding the replacement seal ?
