Iv'e had it for today. I put the drivers dash back in and the A/C duct work and I have the center cluster hooked up and tested. I'm beat, Lots of frustration.. I'll finish tomorrow. I had everthing out to fix everything... the oil pressure gauge, rewound the ammeter due to flutter. I fixed the clock and the Odometer... replaced all of the light bulbs, lubed the speedo and tach cables.. The entire dash and cluster look new.. nice and clean. :leaving:
BEST TIME OF THE DAY... you just finished working, took a shower and now starting to relax even more... Drinking a Corona (insert beer of your choice) and admiring how good everything looks. I stand out in my garage before going to bed thinking... THIS IS FUN! Working on Corvettes is like sex... even when its bad... IT'S STILL GOOD... HEE HEEEEEE
Glad to hear you're almost there. The thought of messing with those gauges scares me, esp. that oil pressure gauge. I have an image in my head of me putting something together wrong and next thing I know I'm going down the road and an oil geyser starts spewing onto my floorboards. Not that you should worry, I'm sure. :D
