After a couple of years of work, I finally got my 74 running last weekend. Everything was going great until I looked in front of the right rear wheel and there was gas pouring out. I could not see where it was coming from but the fuel line must have a good size hole in it. Here's my question....can the line be replaced with the body on the frame? I found a good price on a replacement at Zip, is there a CF discount through them?

Re: Fuel line question...... (One Bad 74)
There is a 5% discount with Zip if you go to the tool bar above and click Corvette Mall, and then C1-C3 restoration.
I don't think that can be done with out at least lifting the body a little bit. You may want to run a new hand made line or just replace the section that is leaking with a hand made line that can be installed with the body on.
I ran new steel line for both the supply and the return with the body on, but it was very tough going. It takes a lot of time but it can be done :yesnod: :yesnod:
