Default Bilsteins installed; What a difference

Well, I finally installed my VanSteel GP Bilsteins this past weekend and all I can say is, why did I take so long to get these? What a huge difference in ride, handling and stability. I had KYB GR2's in front and standard KYB's in back. The front end would bounce, even with the 550lb coils. The rear end would bounce, but not as bad. Today, when I hit my favorite two twisties on the way to work, it was a totally different car. No bouncing, from either end and a much more stable entrance and exit of the corners. These give you a much firmer ride, but not harsh and I can hit it at a higher speed. For everyone that has thought or is thinking about upgrading their shocks, don't waste another minute. Do yourself a gigantic favor and buy a set of Bilteins. You will be amazed at the differences.

I installed Bilsteins Sports my Vettes......I'm a happy Cappy :)
Tried all the others.....After I got finished jerking around with the cheaper sets......I finally stepped up to the real thing.......Now I know why they cost more. I could have saved a lot of money if I had gone straight to the Bilsteins in the first place......Older wiser....poorer. :flag :seeya Cappy

I've been really pleased with mine. I installed the shocks as well as new 550lb coils. It is so much tighter now, lots of fun to take around corners!

There is a reason that GM has been using Bilsteins on Vettes since 84.......
