count your blessing...my g/f burned her leg a few eeks ago..second degree burn...leg almost was starting to get infected...was off work last week so she could stay off the leg./...swelling went down and no infection....it will take weeks to heal and i am sure will leave a nice scar...
Poor Olivier. If its that bad, and your going to cry like a little girl. Then why don't you give my your 68. I won't ever whine about it like you do.....
A girl that was riding with me asked if it would burn her leg. I placed my hand on the ridged section and held them there for a almost five seconds and she placed her hand on them for a second or two. I wouldn't want to hold my hand on them for too long, but I think they were cooler than a piece of steel laying in the street on that 100ºF day in CA. The secret is that the shields are bolted to the body while the pipes are hung from the frame.
I am sure you have to be careful with those damn pipes...by the way, which hooter's gurl was you so distracted by when you was tryin to get in or outta your car...???? Come on..share the pics!!! :smash:
That goes a little way to getting square for the time I burnt my leg on your pipes at Hooters in Tampa last year. :D ..... but those lovely girls did do their utmost to make me feel comfortable and their soothing caresses were oh so nice! Oh hang on......that was the dream I had later that night....silly me.

instead of sidepipe guards that cover the beautiful chrome pipes, has anyone though of wearing shin guards. Besides, we'd be covering our roasted red/black legs. I don't know what would look funnier a Corvette driver getting out of his car with his leg on fire, or a Corvette driver getting out of his car wearing hockey equipment... with his leg on fire.

I just don't like the looks of the guards.... but they are great preventing burns....
