i can't leave my t-tops off for more than a second, and I have the notorious cat "Leo" sleeping in the back of my vette

Of all the animals you could find in your vette I dont think cats are that bad. But if it uses your carpet as kitty litter then I would be having BBQ cat for dinner.
You hit on one of my major problems. I've got a cat thats going to go on a one way visit to the pound if it doesn't stay off my vette. I've got to keep the car cover on 24/7 or the dang thing jumps on the hood. The car is black and shows every minor scratch. I've spent way to may hours buffing cat scratches out. If he does it again I'm going to have him de-clawed. I may have him neutered just for spite :mad

You should have it neutered anyways. Neutering/spaying animals is always a good thing. It helps cut down on strays and is actually healthier for the animals.
:withstupid: tshort is right! Neutered cats also get into less fights. There's one un-neutered cat in this neighborhood that likes to come over and scrap with my neutered cat. One of these days I'm gonna trap that booger and have his *ahem* cut off!
Sounds like Leo has good taste:D My cat's name is also Leo, but he doesn't go outside, or in the garage, so no chance of him sleeping in my car... By the way, what's with all the news print, you painting your car?
i was painting the black rim the goes along the outside of the window (was all scratched and faded), i went into the house for a sandwich (made sure to close the garage door), when I came back, Leo was completely unconscious on my rear compartment cover, I woke him up and took a picture.......
it was tough getting him out because the doors were taped shut and I didn't want to tear all of the masking off...........lol
We have cats but they stay inside. Live too close to a busy road. Dont want street pizza kitty you know. Maryland is a messed up state. Its actually against the law to let you cat out if its not fenced in or leashed. Who ever heard of a cat on a leash?

Cats are a huge problem where I live. The idiot neighbors (an old-folks home) leave their dumpsters open all the time. A kitty-buffet. The town has a stray cat problem and heaven forbid the old-folks home does somthing for the town. I was lying in bed the other night when the motion sensor light came on over the driveway. I have terrible eyes but looked out the window and could make out two dark-colored cats bouncing around on top of my car cover. Man was I pissed. I wanted to throw something at them but knew I'd only hurt the car. Now I keep a glass of water handy.
I also have a humane trap I intend to put into use with a simple policy. If I catch a stray it goes to the pound. If I catch a collared cat I'll contact the owner and make sure it's returned to them. If I catch the same cat again, it goes to the pound.
