Re: Special timing cover for Roller Cam??? (marky mark)
I am using a sturdier timing chain cover. But I also had the problem with the short water pump hitting the cover. GM has the low profile bolts that will cure this problem, or take a grinder and grind the head down until it clears the timing cover.

Re: Special timing cover for Roller Cam??? (marky mark)
I have the Cloyes two piece aluminum, nice piece, kinda pricey but you spent alot on the roller cam. It has two small discs inside, less friction than the cam button.
Very sturdy so there is not much flex, (the cam button on the last cam almost wore through the cover and it was badly distorted.)
