Default THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!

I don't know if anyone here remembers me. I'm the one who took delivery of the "like new" 82 CE from ProTeam back in April. It was a gift to myself after surviving major cancer surgery. Well, I only got to enjoy it for 3 short drives before the next phase off my illness kicked in. Since then. I've gone through 2 brain surgeries and various forms of chemo and radiation.I AM GETTING BETTER AND FULLY EXPECT TO ENJOY MY VETTE SOON. Anyway, I just wanted to thank the wonderful people on this forum for their prayers. They seem to be working. :seeya

Glad to see you! Keep being positive. You put into perspective how good some of us have it and how easily we get let down by the simplest things. I'm glad to see you being positive and doing well. Let's see some pics of the Vette!! :smash: :smash: :chevy :)

:iagree:

All the time I was recovering from my accident all I could think about was getting back in the garage and working on "my toys"

Glad to hear your doing well and here's to that next drive

Steve :steering:

Allen! We're so glad to finally hear from you! I was thinking about you a few months back, wondering if anyone knew of your progress.

There is still a few months of good driving weather left. Take advantage of it all. Before you know it, winter will be here and the cars will be tucked away for the next six months!

This year, I took my CE to the Corvette 50th in Nashville with the Michigan caravan. Although it is the only long trip I will ever take with this car (GULP 1,000 miles on the odometer) it was worth it! Here's a picture of me at "victory circle!"

On Friday, I'm headed for the "big one" the kahuna of all car shows, the Woodward Dream Cruise! But I won't be logging on any major miles to speak of! :-)

Hope to read many more posts from you, and if there is anything you want to pick my brain about being a fellow CE owner, I'm just an email away!

Glad to have you back! :hurray:
