I am having one heck of a time trying to find someone who can help me with a few questions. I recently picked up a bank to bank with WB02 Fast system, problem is the guy bought it from a shop who made a custom harness for a vortec motor. Mainly none of the connectors are terminated. So I am busy going over the pinout sheet and remaking the harness. I have run into a brick wall though. I do not understand half of the terms stated on the Pinout sheet, I need help finding which pinout all the Red wires from the injectors go to? Also all the black wires from the ATS, CTS, and TPS go to? Does anyone here know much about these systems, and or know of someone I can contact that may be able to help me? I have tried FAST's help line and e-mailed them many times, and the only response was you can buy a new harness from us. which I know just the injector harness portion is over 140 bucks, I don't even want to know how much a full harness would be. I may have to resort to that level, but it just pisses me off since I only have like 3 or 4 wires that I cannot figure out.
Look up a guy clled Monty, I believe he is/was running that in his twin turbo 427 sb. He might have an e-mail address posted, he has not posted in while here and had his vette for sale.
Hey Washington. I understand your frustration. I felt the same way when I got my Accel DFI EFI system. You probably aren't going to find much help in this forum on this subject. Try the Buick Grand National Forum. There are a ton of DFI guys on that site that can help you with any system. They gave me alot of advice and help. Thanks for the quick responses, I talked with Monty as well, He's moving onto Bigger much more powerful things that float. He was able to help identify what the wires should be referencing, But me being such a layman does that does not help, mainly I am going to need to know exactly what pinout those wires I mentioned go to.
I will give the Buick forum a shot. I am sure this will be answered eventually. I may have to be a complete jerk and order a new harness, then map it to my existing one. Then just return it :).

OK, typically any Air, Coolent, Throttle sensors have a ground side...
but the air is grounded through the harness, so is throttle, together to one black wire going to a solid computer ground at the computer itself, NOT the engine, as we are trying to avoid any false signals that may be pulling current on the same/similar lines because of the rest of the injection operations....like firing injectors, battery/accessory functions, etc....
SO some of those sensors use their own grounds directly to the computer to stop the information screw ups....NOW, typically in a GM system the Coolent temp sensor returns through the brass/aluminum/steel to ground at the engine....BUT that could be differant on any other system....if so...wire to good computer ground with black wire....
I HOPE this answers your problem...if not, maybe IM or offline is way to go..as this crap can get very complicated, and you have to be fairly specific as to just what you are dealing with......blind and bling and all that crap....
Yeah there are 3 gnd pinouts on the ecu, "refered to as y1 y2 and y3." My only problem is I want to be certain in what I am doing. I have taken care of half of the injector wires, which are all actually ground ones, and all have their own wire, But the red wires all go to a 12v source and I cannot seem to find what Pinout that would control that so in short I am assuming that I need to know axaclty what pinout on the ecu would have that control. :(
All red wires on the injectors are 12V feed. They are powered whenever the ignition is powered. I have the Holley ECU so I'm not sure about the FAST, but typically all feed stuff is powered off the main EFI relay. The items powered by the relay are:
Fuel pump
Injectors
O2 sensor heater
So the ECU will not have a pin for injector power, rather it will have a pin to drive the main relay.
OK, if you look at typical GM computer...DPFI wiring...you may find the wiring goes to the battery through a 7.5 amp or close rating fuse to the battery allways hot, now that enables the memory and injector power circuits...the memory draws nothing, but he power circuits are not engergised if the 5 volt TTL....line is dead...which is typical to the way I would design a circuit...
THAT means if you kill the 5 volt line through a key switched circuit, you have killed the computer, and typically the sensors are one way or another derived from that 5 volt line...hense you see the TPS say...go from 4.5 volts at WOT, with say 5 volts on ONE end, and nearly zero on the other end....that's ground...at the computer...
the 12 volts to the injectors is for internal wiring and ground/power loop considerations routed throug the computer...good wiring practice...
meaning you have to have a fair amount of internal knowledge of the computer at hand...sorry...but I can only help with a more or less stock setup...
I can't imagine any other varrying a whole lot from standard practice that GM, Ford, Toyota, etc all follow...electronics only works ONE way....
I would just hook the +12 to the unswitched computer AND the injectors...to the12 volt source, as through a 10 amp fuse....to the battery....leave fuse out of circuit in case I"m wrong...we test later...
NOW typically there may well be a variation on grounds available at the computer....follow the diagram...IF the grounds are shown as being close to the input of a unit...say TPS...ground the TPS at that point, it's meant for it, in the internal computer wiring....in spite of maybe the computer has one solid 'ground plane'....So that means if say your Y1 is indeed shown as near the injectors....wire the injectors as shown to that point, or any other part as shown on their diagram...
