Default Raise engine????

I want to raise my engine 1/2" or so. Any recommendations?

Can I do it with different motor mounts?

I am in the process of installing Steeroids. My car did not have power steering on it. When I installed a power steering pump the pulley hit the frame. I think the oil pan is to close to the rack and pinion too.

I have sent an e-mail to the previous owner to see if he replaced the motor mounts when he rebuilt the engine. He had told me he was surprised the stock hood cleared the engine with a high rise manifold and a Holly double pumper. I got two hoods with the car. :D

Try Small Block Solid motor mounts, "big block solid motor mounts are used in vetts with small blocks :). But visually check them first .

"I hope I spelled everthing right..

That Ferrari post really got to you didn't it? Hey this would be a pretty dead forum if it was about spelling. My kids used to ask me "how do you spell", I would say do you want to know how I spell it, or how to spell it right. If you want to know how to spell it right ask your mom.

Thanks for the tip!!!! Any idea how much difference there is?

Spell it Hell sometimes I can't say it

Besides isn't that what spell check is for?

When I was a kid there were times when I wondered If I was spelling my own name right. now I can get %75 of the words right (but you have to count all the "I, it ,is etc, etc  )

Steve :steering:

Gee good thing I checked I had 2 spelling mistakes (darn fingers   )
