I'm planning to purge my nitrous system through lines routed to the NACA ducts in the hood. Will the nitrous affect the paint? Is there any danger from blow back across/into the engine compartment?

When you purge you are purging AIR out of the lines, and small amounts of gaseous nitrous. I wouldn't worry about your paint.

Hrm, I've heard a different story from some folks. Depends on how much you purge I guess, but you will be pushing liquid (not for long) nitrous out at some point if you are completely purging the lines. I've heard stories of people having problems with windshield breakage, but who knows if they're true... Bet Norval does:D
