Default Headers on angle plugged heads.

I have called Heddman, Dynomax and several other places. No one seems to make a header for a SportsmanII angle plug head in a Vett. Not even a block hugger(Which i find impossible to beleive)

Please some one help!!!! I'm supposed to be putting the engine on the frame tomorrow and the body back on in a couple of weeks.

Have angled plug Trickflows and have plenty of room, couple are tight but no biggie, with Dynomax headers.

I had headers on my vette when I bought it and afterwards mounted Sportman II's angled plug with no problems & now have the Hooker SuperComps sidemount headers without problems ;) .

I have hooker supercomp's 1 3/4 X 28 3 1/2 inch collectors made for angle plug heads. Give summit racing a call. They are a little pricey @ $600 with ceramic coating.

Schoenburg headers #150 series...I have the 1.75 on my car, and they fit fine with any head in my '72......one thing though, for some reason the pass side did need mods to bend the collector away from the stock starter motor....seems kind of dumb....

Most of the reputable headers will fit with angle-plug heads. I know the hookers will, because I helped a friend install them on a Vette with Sportsman II heads about 3 months ago.

The reason they won't claim they fit is a liability thing. There are more bubbas than mechanics out there, and a lot of people won't bother to route their plug wires correctly - then they burn on the headers, and bubba blames the manufacturer.

I have the Hedman headers on mine, with the angle plug L98 Corvette heads.

Part number 68300-1 I do believe. They are thermal coated, fits C3's and works with my angle plug heads just fine.
