Well, I had the headers and the duels installed. I rebuilt the carb via lars white paper and my vette is running and sounding great. I had a hole in the aluminum radiatior and I had thta fixed. Well NOW it is running hot on me. When I pop the cap it overflows and is hot. I replaced the thermostat(196 degree) abd the water pump is less than a year old. I am hearing a squeaking sound coming from the water pump area. Am I hear the bearings dying and would that cause the temp to be really erattic?
Maybe get a mechanics stethoscope and listen to it??
I seem to remember a test where you remove the t-stat, put a garden hose in the radiator, put the return hose in a bucket and measure the flow of the water pump.

Hmmm that is a good idea, I was wondering if there was a way to check the water flow.
