Elect. Question
I have a pink wire coming out of the cig lighter wire harness connected to nothing. What is this for? the wire to cig lighter is orange. 1976 auto.
Also does the driver side seat belt wire harness snap into a conection under the center console? I have two connectors their but can't get them to hook together. I replaced the seat belt warning light and now it will stay on. I know the easy fix put burned out bulb back in but it seems they should connect together unless Bubba change seat belts out?? Anyone?? My interior is just about done waiting on new lens for gauges hope it comes friday..

The seat belt warning light has a timer wired in the same circuit that turns it off after a time delay. Could be your timer is missing or no good. Can't help you with the pink wire, sorry. Maybe someone else knows.

The seat belt switch will shut off the warning light when the belt is connected, but if it's not connected the light will shut off after a time delay.
