Just wanted to jump over from the C5 section and fondly remember my frist two Corvettes. The frist was a 1978 coupe. Someone had made a Pace Car replica without the decals. Looked correct, except for the interior. I was shopping for a used Vette and saw that one. Love at first sight. I put nearly 100,000 miles on that car before a friend of mine got T-boned in it. He survived - the car did not. I still have the nose emblem.
The second was a silver 1981. Very pretty car and ran good. I think the prievious owner had modified the engine. Sorry I sold it.
Had great times in both cars. I really like the 3rd generation cars.
All of them are so different. I didn't realize how different, until I bought the C-4. I knew the C-5 was a world apart. But it's cool how each of these cars have their own "flavor."
I agree with the above. Get another. You won't regret it.
Well you have the C5 for go, Now get yourself another C3 for class....
So are you saying the C3 doesn't 'GO'? Just kidding, I think the C3 is the classiest, best looking Corvette ever. Well maybe its tied with the midyears.
