instrument cluster

my lights dont work on my instrument cluster. none of them. i am wondering if it is a possible blown fuse, and if so, where would it be?

Yes it could be a fuse. The fuse box on an 81 is located just left of the steering column, underneath the dash.

uuuuummm ... just before you start tearing into anything, make sure your dimmer switch is turned up ....

don't ask how I know this .... :banghead:

I had to replace my headlight switch because the dimmer part was broke off. PITA
