I need some measurements please!!

My brother has a 72 vette that got hit by a kid who ran a stop sign -he is replacing most of the rear section of the car himself and he needs to know how long it is -(seems like a silly question!) He needs to know the length of the car from the rear window to the back of the car (not the bumpers) just to the lip at the top end of the tail section. He would have measured it before he cut it apart but it was smashed in!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

45 9/16" from the edge of the fiberglass at the window to the lip at the rear measured down the center of the back over the gas cap.
