Steering column upgrade ??
I want to update my steering column in my 71 to a tilt system. Columns Galore wants $850.00 for a rebuilt painted to match. Is this a resonable price or should I be looking elsewhere....

Sounds a little on the rich side. What column are they going to give you? Are you getting a steering wheel w/it? I'm thinking $650 would sound a little better.

No steering wheel or horn button included. Everything else included and painted to match. I there another company I should look at?

Try Corvette Steering Service. Ask for Tom. They are out of S.C. Don't have a web site just a number. 864-287-9990. See what they have to say. They do great work.

Last year's Paragon Reproductions catalogue had used columns listed. I don't see them in the new catalogue. You could call them at 800-882-4688.

I just bought one on eBay for $300. Needs to be repainted to match. Paragon wanted $1000 for a used one. The going rate on eBay seems to be $300-600 and there is always one for sale.
