All about Vortec Heads
Thought this might be of interest to some of you guys and gals out there.

I read this article last year and it kept me from selling my Vortec heads. I've got a new set of complete Vortec heads in a storage locker. I could have sold the heads several times, but I keep having visions of building a kick-azz torque monster 383, under them.
All I need is a good short block. I've got all the other stuff, cam lifters, intake even a set of headers, I just need a short block. That and the cash to buy it. :D
One of these days I'll find a deal to good to pass up and get that short block. Then I'll have to figure out what to do with my ZZ4.

I love my Vortecs. And you can't beat $750 for a set of heads (fully assembled), fasteners, and an intake, from Scoggin Dickey. Great stuff.
